Client Code of Ethics

Everyone who works at Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital is here because we care deeply for the dogs and cats in our care, we are proud of the work that we do, and seek to continually provide a welcoming and safe environment which ensures trust and respect for all people and pets. We go to great lengths to show our clients the respect and dignity they deserve, and to build long-lasting and trusting relationships with our patients and their guardians.

If any of our staff members do not display these values, or if you have been harmed in any way by our staff, we ask that you please reach out to our Practice Manager so we may correct this situation. We have a zero-tolerance policy for staff showing disrespect or harm to our clients, and we also have a zero tolerance policy for clients showing disrespect or harm to our staff. Those that choose not to respect our boundaries or make our staff feel unsafe or uncomfortable, demonstrate rude, aggressive, hostile, or inappropriate behavior towards anyone inside our premises, will have their relationship with Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital terminated, and their medical records will be mailed to the address on file.  Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital has a duty to ensure the safety, emotional well-being, and welfare of our team. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.

We appreciate your kindness, compassion and support as our team strive to do the best they can to care for you and your pet. In return, you can expect the same fair treatment and level of care and empathy from our team.
