FVH will be launching new approaches to our delivery of care to better serve you in 2014. Each year we continually survey our clients to get feedback on ways in which we can improve. This information you provide is valuable and we listen. With the start of the new year you may notice some of our changes:
- Our lobby is quieter with all incoming phone calls handled by a dedicated staff member in a separate location of the hospital. Appointments are better staggered to avoid overburden of our lobby.
- We now have a room manager that will guide you through your visit from beginning to end. At the completion of visit they will ensure you have received all medications and products the Veterinarian prescribed. They will also schedule rechecks and complete payment from within the room. This is especially helpful for those with small children. When you are done you will be able to exit directly to your vehicle.
- Technical staff now provide outpatient appointments between 8-9 a.m., 12:30-1p.m. and 5:30-6p.m. This will allow for quick visits before and after work and over lunch for nail trims, vaccine updates and blood draws.
- We now offer drop off exam appointments for those that need to get to work and can’t get here during our regular schedule. LVT staff will meet for drop offs between 8-8:30a.m. and ensure your concerns are relayed to the attending Veterinarian.
These are a few of the changes during the initial part of 2014. Over the course of the year you will see other exciting improvements to our delivery of care. And keep those surveys coming, your ideas help shape the very hospital you love!
