COVID-19 Client Update 3-16-2020

Dear FVH Client, COVID-19 continues to be a concern for us all. We are monitoring local, state and national authorities for the latest information. Please review our blog post published last week on ways we are working to protect you and our staff. Effective immediately, FVH will begin implementing changes to staffing levels and scheduling priorities. We will officially become a medical-only facility until May 1st to ensure continued care of sick dogs and cats in our community. Dear FVH Client, As many of you are already aware, the COVID-19 virus continues to be a topic of concern in WA state. With the first confirmed case of the virus in Bellingham diagnosed yesterday, local health authorities are encouraging vigilance in reducing additional transmission within our community and beyond. Our Veterinarians and veterinary nursing staff met this morning to discuss measures to protect ourselves and you, the clients we serve. Dr. Mike Hinckley Joining FVH and New Hours May 22nd

Big news at FVH….Our Dr. team is growing once again!! Dr. Mike Hinckley will be joining our veterinarian team on May 22nd! Dr. Hinckley grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and decided to call Bellingham home after attending Washington State University for veterinary school. His particular interests include preventative care, dentistry, and internal medicine. Outside of work Dr. Hinckley enjoys skiing, running with his dog, biking, and exploring all of the great activities that Washington has to offer with his wife Allyssa. Alert…Remodel Closure June 4th!

Welcome Dr. Tamara Godbey!

  FVH is excited to welcome our newest Associate DVM, Dr. Tamara Godbey! She grew up in State College, Pennsylvania and after completing her undergraduate degree in Wildlife Sciences at the Pennsylvania State University, attended veterinary school at the Atlantic Veterinary College. Soon after she moved West to Vancouver, British Columbia where she worked in private practice and later at the University of British Columbia.  Her interests include acupuncture, geriatric medicine and pain management.   She enjoys hiking, food gardening and walking her two old pups, Skagit and Madison.
